The site is located in the central part of Shinchi Town and adjoins Shinchi Town Hall and Shinchi Station on the JR Joban Line. There used to be an old residential area, but it was entirely destroyed by the devastating earthquake and tsunami that occurred in 2011. Since then, new land developments have been carried out on the lessons from the disaster, and Shinchi Town currently has plans to build three parks and five green spaces. For this area, we designed a new tourist spot with cherry blossoms which is the flower of the town, a place with a view of Mt.Karo which is a symbol of this region, and a place that encourages interaction among visitors. We hope the places we designed help the locals to realize their attachment to the town again and visitors to appreciate the new town.
