A Park That Revives Urban Waterfront

Nagisa Park is located on the shore of Lake Biwa in Otsu City. The shore used to have a beautiful lakeside landscape that was popularly known as "White Sands and Blue Pine Trees" and selected for the eight views of Lake Biwa, but it has been lost as the city has been expanding. Therefore, we aimed to make a park without too many facilities to regain the beautiful lakeside landscape with rich greenery and provide open spaces to the dense city. Since its completion, the park has provided a beautiful lakeside landscape and a space for recreation.
