The Conservation of the Former Public Hall Garden and the Creation of New Landscape for River Yoshijo
The New Public Hall Garden is located at the foot of Mt.Wakakusa in the center of Nara Park. It was remade due to the renovation of the old public hall. We designed this garden including the following points; [1] open to the public and let people use the space as their garden with flowering trees and lawns throughout four seasons, [2] integrate with the existing mountainous area, [3] widen the lawn of the garden, [4] follow the master plan to conserve the southern part of the existing garden, and [5] consider the view from the public hall restaurant.
